Homestead Timber Frames
Timber Framed
Barns ~

The image of a barn nestled close to a house surrounded by a few shade trees and mown fields speaks volumes of a homestead that is sustaining its inhabitants.
Many well built barns that have stood for decades are timber framed of oak. But most importantly they are loved, respected for their significance to the homestead, and therefore are cared for so they will last several more decades.

Barns can be used to house animals of course, but many are designed to be workshops,
sheds, studios, offices, guest housing or anything else that accommodates your lifestyle. A good barn is versatile in its uses.

Timber Framed Bridges ~

Foot bridges provide us the means to traverse a creek or small natural ravine. They are practical and should be strong enough to hold more than one person – wide enough to allow a wheel barrow or hand pulled wagon. Most importantly they should possess a sense of form that enhances its surroundings. A timber framed bridge can fill these requirements.
